Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the Echo app and service (the “Service”), provided by SH Group FZE LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 17 years old to use Echo. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; infringe others’ rights; generate or distribute harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other accounts; or evade usage limits or security controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. The assistant & AI output
Echo uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and media. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes, and is provided “as is.” It is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). You are responsible for reviewing and how you use any output.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending it to our AI processors to generate responses, as described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you submit.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Echo offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are sold and managed through our website, not through the mobile app; the iOS app provides functionality to existing accounts and does not sell subscriptions. Paid features are provided for the period you pay for. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal where you purchased it. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
6. Account deletion & termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate the Service, or your access, for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service. If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it through your billing portal before deleting your account.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service; no other rights are granted.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the UAE will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
